Meet Cynthia Leal
Cynthia Leal started in the lending industry at the age of 18. She graduated pre-med from UC San Diego with a degree in biochemistry and cell biology. Cynthia felt the large gap in the lending industry with consumer knowledge and program education among underserved communities needed to be filled; thus, she continued her career in lending.
Cynthia takes pride in educating each customer and helping them achieve their lifelong dream of homeownership the right way while reinstating her industry partners' beliefs in the home lending process across various states. Currently, she is an active lender for the City of Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department for their first-time homebuyer initiatives. She speaks on a panel for the Los Angeles Housing Authority for the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, helping Section 8 recipients manage finances to lead them to homeownership as well as participating on panels with the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Transaction Rescue™ division. She will graduate in December 2024, becoming a National CreditSmart Coach for Freddie Mac.
